A: Capital Fence has been in business for over 15 years providing high quality services to Montgomery County, Frederick County and surrounding areas.

Q: What types of Fence materials do you install?
A: We provide sales and installation for Wood, Vinyl, Ornamental Aluminum/Steel and Chain Link fence. We also install Estate Gates, Auto-openers & Custom Iron work. Ask for Arbors, Pergolas and Trellises.


Q: What if I am considering a pool? Do you offer product necessary to meet county requirements?
A: Yes, we offer our customers pool compliant fencing in all the different types of fencing . We are well versed on local county pool code requirements and will match the appropriate material necessary to comply with your local regulations.


Q: What kind of Warranty do you offer?
A: Capital Fence, Inc. offers an unmatched full THREE year warranty on our fence workmanship & one year on Gates. Also, many of our manufacturers offer their own limited lifetime warranty on most products we offer.


Q: Do you have your own crews or do you sub out your work?
A: We at Capital Fence do not sub out our work, our crews have been with us for years. This ensures us of maintaining the highest level of quality workmanship possible. We know who is going to be in your yard! We like to say it this way “we are as good as anyone but not everyone is as good as we are”.


Q: What do I do if I can’t locate the metal property markers?
A: We recommend to our customers that they get a survey done to have the property staked out by a professional. Start by locating your property plat (with settlement paperwork) and contact surveyor from the time before. If you would like to compare pricing try these very competent companies:


Q: What if I can’t find my property plat?
A: If you can’t locate your property plat then try to locate the following information that you will need to provided to your local permit and zoning office. You will need Lot and Block # of your property as well as subdivision. For Montgomery County please call 240-777-6300 or www.permittingservices.montgomerycountymd.gov for info.


Q: Who is responsible for calling Ms. Utility?
A: Capital Fence will contact Ms. Utility prior to installation and will also do additional call ins every two weeks or so to keep the markings fresh for installation. Ms. Utility phone # is 800-257-7777.


Q: How close to the property line can we install the fence?
A: You can install just inside the property line unless there are zoning issues or community restrictions/rules. We typically install approximately 1” inside property lines.


Q: When can I typically expect installation to begin after signing contract?
A: Your Sales Representative will provide you with an estimated start date and completion date on your proposal. This date is assuming we receive the following in a timely manner and please remember weather can be a factor:

  • Contract signed and deposit/permit fee is received by check or CC.
  • Copy of property plat if we are to get permit. If customer is getting permit we need a copy of permit before we can put you on the schedule.
  • Fence location has been determined and Ms. Utility has marked property.

A: You have several good options here: You may speak directly with the crew foreman, you may contact your Sales Representative by cell phone or you may call the office directly @ 301-972-8400 for prompt attention. We want to make sure the entire process goes smoothly so please don’t hesitate to contact us when necessary.
